John Edward Chambers July 10, 1970 January 3, 2021
John E. Chambers, 50, of St Louis, MO, made his peaceful exit from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He is survived by his loving parents, Cecil and Carol Chambers; brother Don, sisters Lisa Chambers and Sherry (Patrick) Lambing; cherished daughters Brittany Chambers and Dori Stevens; extended family and friends. Often referred to as “The Iron Horse” due to his ability to keep going while battling many illnesses and obstacles. John had many redeeming qualities. He was loyal, honest, and was open to sharing his thoughts and feelings. He was both boisterous and sensitive. Family was foremost and closest to his heart. A great conversationalist, John could discuss many topics ranging from music, religion, world events, and sports—he was a lifelong Blues fan. He related to and appreciated the music of Alice in Chains (especially the song “Nutshell”), Queensryche, and Iron Maiden, to name a few. John was an advocate for people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia and wished more people understood those diseases and had empathy toward sufferers. He had a beautiful smile, and a spirit that is already missed. He is truly loved, gone but not forgotten.
May God embrace him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
