Deborah, “Debbie” Kay Toomey, 66 of Spanish Lake, passed away June 4th, 2020 with her immediate family by her side.
She was born to the late George H. and Dorothea M. Norton, June 2, 1954, in St Louis, Missouri.  Debbie graduated from McClure High School, Florissant, MO, in 1972. She married James F. Toomey in 2000 and they lived together in Spanish Lake. Debbie is survived by her two children from her first marriage: Michael Maender(Amy), of Ballwin, MO; Amanda Eilerman(Mike), of St Louis, MO.   She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Kate, Frankie, Ella, Michael, Reese, Dottie and Elleigh.  Debbie was also a dear sister to her four surviving siblings as well as a beloved aunt to their respective children; Steven(Mary) Shelton, David(Teri) Norton, Diane Molitor and Dean Norton.  Debbie was a meticulous caregiver. Her caring career began with daytime pediatrics and concluded with private primary geriatric care for Delmar Gardens and Heartfelt Hands in St Louis. Debbie was a skilled listener who exuded compassion and considered real life humor the best medicine.  Debbie’s unconditional love of her family and friends and perfectly timed humor will be
remembered for generations.  The family will honor Debbie’s election for cremation as well as an intimate family celebration to be held Saturday, June 27. The family greatly appreciates any donations (to be in Debbie’s
